New for 2008 Adventures Wild has acquired 1500 acres of prime whitetail country in zones 4 and 5 of South Central Iowa. In the last 10 years zones 4 and 5 in Iowa has put more whitetail bucks into the record books than anywhere else in the country including the new world record non-typical which was killed just a few miles from the properties. Iowa issues the second fewest tags of any state in the USA for whitetail. The archery tags require 1 preference point to draw. The Gun tags are pretty easy to obtain as in about 80% of those applying will draw tags and January Muzzleloader even a little higher than that. So if you want to hunt were the biggest whitetails in the country well here is your chance. Hunts include 1 Buck and 1 Doe. Must apply for tags between May 3 – June 1, 2008 with the Iowa DNR by phone or online!!! Or as with all our hunts we can do it for you through our professional application service!! Muzzleloader Season: December 22, 2008 – January 10, 2009 (any 4 days)
